About
I'm Matt, the founder of WhyLearnTech. Today WhyLearnTech is being built with my family and a trusted network of developers. Together, we build software for businesses, create our own products, and work with creators who want to grow, monetize, and turn attention into something real.
How We Got Here
Before this, I was a senior software engineer working for 2 Fortune 500 companies throughout my 20s. I worked on customer-facing platforms and internal systems that were used by thousands of people.
But over time I realized I wanted to forge my own path and build something bigger than just myself. I wanted more ownership, more direct work with the people I was helping, and the chance to create something my family and close collaborators could build with me over time.
So I left that path and started building WhyLearnTech. Part of that was starting my YouTube channel to help young people succeed in the crazy world that comes after quitting the job path and trying to build something for yourself. Now we split our time across client software, creator work, and our own products. That mix matters because we don't just want to consult. We want to keep building, testing, learning, and staying close to the work.
